I have created a monster.....

The person I usually give a ride to was really put out that I took the bus to work yesterday. She was looking forward to the motorcycle.

My elbow was hurting so I opted for safety and took transit instead.

I get the impression from what she says about her family life that getting to ride on a motorcycle is the only fun she ever has.

She is 48 and the ride I gave her was her first time on a motorcycle. She loves it. :D

Good on ya Blues, you may have just opened up a whole new life for your friend.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

I did my democratic duty today. I voted in the provincial election.

It amazes me how many people who live here take our rights for granted. So many don't bother to vote. When you consider other countries in the world that don't allow voting, or even worse don't allow their women out of their burkas.....women have no rights at all in places like Afghanistan.....many countries are dictatorships who have no elections at all....I think every citizen should exercise their democratic rights and go vote.

If you don't vote, then only a small percentage of the population is making the decisions. If you don't vote, don't complain about the results.

Tuesday night we'll know who runs the government for the next 4 years.

Not to start a political gnawing or anything... But I don't vote. Not because I don't want to and don't appreciate the privilege. But because I don't think I've ever believed anything that's ever come out of a politicians mouth.

Regardless of whether I think they'll do what they say....at least by voting I have earned the right to complain.

Didn't carlin do a bit on that blues? About people who don't vote having more right to complain since it wasn't them who chose the people in office. Lol.
