victory does it overheat?

#1 Unread post by hardlyable »

I've been riding a long time now.

Been looking at the victory cross country, but was curious if they might overheat during the hot weather.

Over the years I have had some hds overheat while idling in traffic during the hot days.

Trying to research a new bike.

I've not heard of it, I was looking into owning one.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

I'm sure it will eventually. Air cooled motors will always overheat eventually.
That said, I haven't heard of a Victory overheating, and around here we had record heat this summer (several days of 105 area temps).

I have never heard of a modern air cooled bike overheating aside from the odd ducati monster idling in traffic for too long.

certainly have never seen a cruiser overheat (though I suppose if you bumped the compression ratio up enough on a modded harley motor you could probably overheat it at idle).

My bandit never had overheating issues even on the hottest days.
