Upgrading the forum to newest phpBB version 3.2.0

#1 Unread post by totalmotorcycle »

Hi all,

You may have noticed today the forum looks different. This is because I am upgrading it to the latest PHPbb version and had to default it back to the default style. As soon as the forum is upgraded, I will be customizing the look of it once more.

Everything works, it just looks different. :)

I'm disoriented. I normally viewed via the 'latest posts' function and what's present now isn't quite the same.
Friday the 13th. Figures :-)

Gez, I forgot it was Friday the 13th! LOL. Go figure then.

With the default template I am a little disoriented as well, things are just a tad different in a little different spots. But I'm quickly getting used to it. When the forum is upgraded then I can see what options I have and what we can work with. Exciting times. :)

Total Motorcycle is pleased to announce we have upgraded our forums to the very latest version. Fast, better, slicker and hopefully more friendly.

I currently am using a light-custom style header that will evolve to look more like our older style (I really enjoyed the motorcycle images on top) if this version allows it. If you come across any issues on the forum, please let me know right away. Hopefully there are no bugs. AND, if you have any ideas for improvements, let me know too.

Welcome to the newest, latest 3.2 version of phpBB!

Thanks for making Total Motorcycle your #1 Virtual Riding Destination!!!

Wonderful! It's very good on mobile eh? In fact the above message I typed was from my iPad Mini to test out and it was great.

Well, I can't say a lot (it's secret) but upgrading the forum to mobile friendly was 1 of 2 steps. :cowboy:
