Personally I'm obsessed of Yamaha R1, You must have one because of its unique sophisticated electronic control features plus its reliability and airbox along with latest cylinder heads.

With a budget of $7000, finding a Yamaha R1 from 2016 or newer might be a bit challenging, but it's definitely possible with some diligent searching and maybe a bit of flexibility on the model year or condition. The Yamaha R1 is a popular superbike known for its performance and reliability, making it a great choice if you’re returning to riding.

Here are a few tips to help you find the right bike within your budget:

Check Multiple Sources: Look at various online marketplaces like Cycle Trader, Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace. These platforms often have listings from both dealers and private sellers.

Consider Older Models: While your focus is on a 2016 or newer model, you might find better deals on slightly older models. If the bike has been well-maintained, an older model could still offer great performance at a lower price.

Inspect the Bike Thoroughly: Make sure to check any motorcycle thoroughly before purchasing, especially if it's used. Look for signs of wear and tear, check the mileage, and ensure it has no significant mechanical issues. If possible, bring a mechanic with you or someone experienced with motorcycles to inspect the bike.

Negotiate: Be prepared to negotiate the price. Given your budget, you might have some leverage, especially if a seller is looking to make a quick sale.

Be Patient: Sometimes, finding the right bike at the right price can take time. Keep your options open and regularly check listings to catch new deals as they appear.
