Suggest a bike for new riders

#1 Unread post by bmixr »

Hello, I am a new member.

So, for the past few months, I've been considering purchasing a bike and embracing this lifestyle. As a first step, I intend to take some classes to improve my riding skills and then purchase a secondhand bike. I have various possibilities and would like to know which to chose depending on your knowledge; any feedback is greatly appreciated!

1. Yamaha Xvs950 Bolt 2015
2. Harley Davison Sposter 1200 2014.
3. Honda Shadow Vt750 2009
4. Harley-Davidson Iron 883 2013.
5. Harley Davidson Sportster 1200 T Custom 2014

If this is your first time in the world of motorcycles, I recommend starting with the Honda Shadow VT750. It is easy to handle, lighter than the bulky Harleys, and extremely durable. It does not have too much sudden torque, which helps you get used to controlling the throttle and braking more safely. As you gain experience and confidence, then upgrade to the “muscle” Harleys.

The Bolt offers comfortable driving with reliable performance to beginners due to its soothing characteristics compared to the bulkier and less rider-friendly Sportster model range. The Bolt provides a strong choice for anybody who desires an updated cruiser-type motorcycle. Select a motorcycle which fits your body and feels comfortable during handling operations.

If you're new to motorcycling, the Yamaha XVS950 Bolt is a great choice. It's lightweight and agile, making it easy to handle for beginners. The Bolt also offers a comfortable riding position and smooth performance, which are important for new riders. Additionally, its classic design and modern features like fuel injection make it both stylish and practical.

Welcome to the world of motorcycles! If this is your first bike, I would recommend the Honda Shadow VT750. She is more tolerant for a beginner, comfortable and reliable. The Sportster 1200 are nice but more demanding, especially for a first ride. The Bolt can be a good compromise too. Take the one you like the most, but also think about weight and maneuverability. Good road! 🚀

The Yamaha XVS950 Bolt (2015) is a really accessible and well-balanced cruiser. It has a good torquey V-twin that’s not too much for a beginner, and the handling is generally considered pretty good for its class. Plus, it has a great, minimalist, modern-retro look that many people like. Reliability is also a strong point for the Yamaha.
