Going 240!

#1 Unread post by vector18 »

I decided 210 is just not big enough so I am having my swingarm professionally modified and sending my rear rim to get wider and taller to fit the metzler 240 tire. I'll post pics as soon as everything is finished, but here's a sneak preview of the tires.

 I had the purple dirtyboy up to 260 kph 2 days ago...... wait, we ain't talkin' bout the same thing, are we?

But really, let's see some pics when it's done. What's it cost to have your swingarm widened like that? And is it steel or aluminium?
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

The swing arm is done by a well known shop who has done dozens of Warrior swing arms with 100% success. It is aluminum as is the frame of the bike. His cost to modify the swing arm is 450.00 and the rim is 600.00. He's doing everything for 1000.00 and I had to buy the 200.00 rear tire. If you look on ebay, other shops are selling 240 kits for over 2 grand. I'll post pics as soon as everything is complete.
