As long as you ride it's all good. I would like a nice old school bobber (as I mentioned earlier) but If I got it, I'm sure someone out there would label me as a poser or a loser just based on the bike I ride. (I guess it helps that I too have a beard and wear black -usually- when I ride)
The point being, of course, that I ride in the first place. Which for the most part means I'm a real biker, outlaw, loser, poser, or whatever, but at least I ride my freakin bike !!!

For the record the opinion I am about to state is mine and I am unanimous in how I feel about it ..
To me , a poser is the dude with the HD t-shirt , leather vest , engineer boots and no bike whatsoever . Oh and don't forget the bandanna . He usually is a hang-a-round at various biker events with some off the wall excuse why his bike isn't there or that it crashed and burned or some other sorry BS tale.
Now we all like to profile . But that is not to be confused with being a poser . Tell me ya don't check your bad self out once in a while when you cruise by a large plate glass window .
There are a lot of clubs out there some are outlaw and many more are family oriented clubs . As well as numerous Clean & Sober clubs and Many Christian Clubs as well .
When I lived in Arizona I wore a 3 piece patch . I've also ridden and been an officer in a clean & sober club for several years . Until we reached a disagreement and I chose to leave . My spousette is still an officer in that club .
Now I ride with a one piece patch with a family oriented club . We are Nomads . We have members in 4 counties and our main pet project involves youth centers in small outlying farm communities .
In the other thead I will post one of my graphix pieces that I created using our patch and our creed because I believe that a picture is worth a thousand words .
Kind regards, Wizzard
