I honestly can't remember if I weighed in on this or not...
Anyway, I'm the general manager ('bsiness manager',whatever) of a residential Design-Build firm in Seattle. Custom residential builders in Seattle, WA and we do our own design work. Not really sure of my title... I started here 13 years ago when there was 4 of us... now that we're up to 60 I've realized we never gave me a title. Not that I need one. Ido payroll, accounting, taxes, purchasing, HR, A/R, A/P, IT stuff, etc. I'm pure overhead, but I started off doing carpentry in the field.

I think I picked a good time to weigh in here... lol.
1. Postal Worker (Canada Post)
2. Driving 5 ton trucks on the empty roads of Greater Vancouver during the graveyard shift. It leaves me the whole day to find time to ride... who needs sleep??
3. Dealing with dickheaded supervisors that enjoy trying to downsize our workforce bypassing all the pertinent parts of the collective agreement...
