question about breaks

question about breaks

i just came from india and i ridden enfield (cruser) and the back break is at left feet and front break is right hand. i wana know how is the break for a sportsbikes(cbr600rr or R6) here can anyone tell me?

Last I checked my back brake was on my right foot and the gear shifter is on the left foot...If it's the other way around I have been serious frucking up my bike!

hes used to riding an old british bike. brakes and clutch are on the opposite sides on those.

All modern bikes have the back brake at the right foot and the front brake at the right hand

This is absolutely correct . Although I wouldn't call a Royal Enfield a cruiser .

well.....i have a Vino scooter that has the front brake on the right handlebar and the rear brake on the left handlebar.what am i supposed to do with my feet???????

A lot of older Brit bikes had the brake on the left, however the clutch has always been on the right. My Capriolo- the bike in my avatar has the brake on the left, shift on the right and the shift pattern is one up, three down.
My Volusia has a "standard" left shift riight brakes and left clutch.
My Vino had a left rear brake and right front brake.
Am I confused? No.... at least not when I'm on the bikes.
