comment: my highway mpg varied from 88 mpg at 50-55 mph to 61 mpg at 70-75 mph.

Comment: again, average speed is a huge factor in mpg. I've gotten as high as 71 mpg on this bike, keeping it at 55 mph. But it has gotten as low as 53 when heavy on the throttle (indicated 75-80). Figures shown above are overall average.

I have kept a zealous record of my fuel economy for almost one year and all my riding has been city commuting.
