have any of you read "snow crash"
there is a character who rides this techno-future skateboard, and she has body leathers with airbags in them. it does seem like a pretty good idea, so what if you roll more.. if you hit the wall you will just bounce off. the only problem would be if you were doing twisties near a cliff... then you would maybe want the body-airbag and the optional base-jump parachute for when you roll off the cliff :P

ill start working on that right now.

i can imagine someone "i got in the worst crash ever on this huge cliff. but then i had the most gnarly base-jump ever, i just flew down."
