1200 Kit

#1 Unread post by mustangski »

I just had the 1200 kit installed on the Sportster, I picked it up yesterday and what a difference. It was like night and day, the only problem was that I couldn't ride it for very far because I had to work. Now I have to wait until after work today to ride it, I don't know if I can take it for that long. I havn't ridden in over a week, I am starting to get the shakes.

Don't fall to temptation and totally thrash it before it's run-in

Have fun man, I'll bet it's like a whole new bike :righton:

Hope it gives you many happy miles of motoring! I'm going to make sure I take out a 1200 Sporty on the next demo ride at the dealer; my '86 XLH1100 was a four speed chain drive with solid engine mount setup; I'm curious to see how much they've improved since then.

Yes, I will wait until it is properly broke in to really get on it. But just from the short ride I did yesterday it does feel like a completely different bike. And for the price you really can't beat it. I would say best bang for your buck as far as power goes.
