got my license

#1 Unread post by macktruckturner »

After a week riding on my permit, I finally made it down to get my license. The riding test was all kinds of easy. I think I turned 6 times, and made one lane change. I will have to take the MSF course when I actually redeploy from Iraq - or I won't be able to ride on post @ Ft. Benning. At any rate, I have some more riding to go do :)

congrats, where did you take the test at, typically the DMV test isn't such a breeze.

It may have had something to do with the DPS person being a reservist, and myself being on active duty, and on R&R from Iraq. I have driven the car w/ the grader in it before for a friend, and his was actually easier than mine - we made a box around the block, and that was that.

Congratulations MTT . I have a buddy that teaches MC Safety at Fort Lewis , Washington and he's not a rider........... Actually he is my buddy's brother but he's given the old Wizz a hand or two from time to time .
