Hmmm, I gave up wearing fashionable boots about 1985, it was too expensive. Hubby used to knock the heels to hell going round the corners. Of course we were younger and sillier then

I can understand on a scooter going 20mph is not a huge deal but now she wants to ride on the back of my bike and there is no way i would let her on with at least a protective jacket. So I convinced her to buy a motorcycle jacket.
I would prefer her to get leather with extra protection on shoulders and elbows but she insists on getting a textile with the padding. Is textile ok? Or should I be hard-headed on this and insist on leather?
