Question about racing leathers:

#1 Unread post by kabob983 »

I've noticed that most racing leathers have a wierd scoop on the back. Is that just for ventilation or what?

The thing on his back:

2006 Suzuki SV650S (Stolen 4/08, recovered 12/08, sold 3/09)

just a guess, but it looks like those things football players wear so if there neck snaps back, it cant go far enough to break it.

Or, it might be an aerodynamic thing, like to work with the helmet to let air flow better.

All of the above and one more. Track racers carry the water bottle in the hump too.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R
