Would this be a good deal?

To me that would be a kick "O Ring" deal. Not one I could take advantage of right now (if I had the money I'd be all over that like a fat kid on a jelly donut).

But then it's crossing into the too good region.

I mean the bike, helmet, saddlebags for less than 3k?

With the only (noted, at least) downside being 31k miles?

Do ya'll think this would be a good deal, or bordering on the 'I'm hiding something about this bike' side?

Just wondering for future reference.

I would say its a steal if its as described, but if you check it out make sure you have a mechanic, almost sounds a little to good if you ask me, but hey maybe he just needs to sell it quick and doesnt mind taking a loss. But definately have it checked throughly if you look at buying it, especially without a photo

I definately can't buy it now.

I only have $1,000 saved and in college...and have no job (Read: Bum).

On top of that, college fees. So it'll be a while before I can buy something. (Gear, Insurance, bike, parking permit....sigh).

Just referencing. And if anyone is in the Austin area you may want to check it out. It does sound like quite the deal if it's legit.

Probably the dorkiest biker you'll ever see this side of Texas.
I do believe you are taking my title, who do you think you are :teehee: i am by far the dorkiest biker you'll ever see this side of texas, then again, which side are you talking about. Im talking about the left, side, you could be the dorkiest on the right side of texas, then we both win

Sorry but your signature claims that you're in LA.

Unless you mean Louisiana, but that's on the right side of Texas. I call shinnanigans.

But I'll change it, didn't realize it had been taken.

Oh I'm definately the dorkiest biker (if I can even be called a biker yet. I have an M on my license, does that count?) in Texas.

But I like my new signature better anyways.

Anyways it's like 11:00 PM and I have to read about 300 pages before 8 AM tomorrow...I should probably get started on that.

Hopefully I'll get more feedback by the time I check the forums tomorrow (winks at and nudges more experienced posters).

you may be dorkier, considering you have to have a bike to be one, and you think you are one, does that mean your riding an imagnary bike? If so, your dorkeyer than me my friend :)

If im not mistaken the M means motorcycle lisence, if so, then it counts for something, not sure what

And your new sig gave me something to do the next time i go to a mall, and made me chuckel, good luck with the reading
