I have a guy with r/c airplanes that buzzes the whole neighborhood for hours at a time. I just go ride until after dark, and he's gone. Sitting around drinking beer always ended badly for me, so I changed hobbies (old hobby, trap shooting. New hobby, riding ...no drinking)...good thing for the r/c guy.
Ride safe...God bless!

I'd probably.... very probably..... buddy up to him long enough to see what type of radio he had and what frequencies he used. Then I'd go buy my own radio. He would get tired of losing airplanes in a hurry and move on, or else his air force would rapidly be depleted to non-threat status.

I don't drink much either, I'm just an a-hole.

BuzZz,

I like the way you think...I would probably do the same although it would be a lot of fun (although highly illegal) to use the old 12 gauge as an antiaircraft gun.

Your way is probably more satisfying.... at least until the cops show up.

With a 12 gauge in your hand that doesn't sound like a particularly difficult thing to solve *innocent look*

And remember people are a much slower moving target then a plane...
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Put a beer in the other hand, sit out on the front steps, and that describes every third house on my street anytime it's not raining and above -20*.

A lot of R/C airplanes operate in the 6 meter band which is 50-54MHZ. You can tune in a scanner and try to listen for his RC signal. But under no circumstance jam a plane operating on that band. The 6 meter band is also an amateur radio band so that signal you hear may not be the plane but a ham operator tuning up his radio.

No problem, Dude. I got a clear line of fire in both directions for 500 yards. I'll lay down cover fire while you make your approach. Just watch out for the cow pies on the road... they's slickery.
