Biposto? Monoposto?

#1 Unread post by mikec8785 »

Alright, I've tried to search on the internet for answers but I've found none. My question is: What is a biposto? What is a monoposto? This is probably a stupid question, but I'm very new to motorcycles.

Don't worry, I've been riding for over 25 yrs. and I didn't know what the heck you were talking about.

A quick google search says that there's a Ducati 748cc model called the Biposto-Monoposto (as well as an early 50s sports car). The other references to Monoposto seemed to deal with open-wheeled race cars.

I'd be interested to know what it means too. (one posto or two?)

Biposto is 2 seats, monoposto is one seat.

Stai cercando per e motocicli Italiani?

Haha wow it was that simple. I thought it had something to do with the chassis or frame or something really complex on the bike. Well thank you for the info.
