Whizza wrote:i used the searce option and had a quick look but didnt find what i was looking for and thought this to be the best place to post . i currently own a 99' fireblade and am having trouble well alot of trouble trying to get it on the back wheel . now on my dirtbikes thats all i used to do was wheelie everywhere . the many times i have tried to "pop it up" it seems all the bike wants to do is spin so any "genuine" imput would be appreciated .

Cheers Whizza
I have to ask.

Are you trying to wheelie the blade in the dirt or on hard top?

If you are in the dirt, see if you can find some knobblies for it. :clown:

Ah yes, when in doubt, blame it on the bike, not the technique.

like i said it is my my first "real" road bike and in reguards to tyres and what not i havent got a clue still learning in that department where as with a dirt squirter it dont matter really what tyres you have you can wheelie with a bald one as most of you would know .

im not blaming the tyres well it isnt helping me i still have to sus out how to work the power out as dirt bikes are alot peakyer down low . i was also talking to a bloke i met yesterday and he is gonna give me a bit of a hand setting up suspension , gearing etc. i can do it with dirtbikes but am takin in all ( serious ) information .

and yes i am trying on a hard top

Nice bike. From the looks of it you should be able to wheelie that thing, but I'm really not qualified to know since I've never done it.

Cool flying pic too. I need a dirt bike...

I believe it will. My son's 87 hurricane will. My kz650 will too, and it's 26 years old. That one looks alot newer/more powerful, too.
Ride safe...God bless!
