I can get a 1989 1100 Virago for 1400 looks good runs strong needs a regulator and a front tire.Is this a good deal it's my ex wife hubby they need some cash.I have a 1999 Gs 500E perfect shape but would not mind having another bike.

If it is a low milage scoot , I would consider offering less but cash talks and BS walks . Ya know what I mean .

Well it's mine.Now i have to find out what up with it will run for about 100 miles then goes dead, charge it up do it all over again.Could be the stayor or the regulator or has a new battery but might be to small.

Have you checked to see if it was charging the battery?
Sounds like a good time to break out the voltmeter.
