Came around a corner, didn't see them and ran into a swarm of African bees. Maybe 120 when we hit them. I thought that I had been shot with a shot gun. We also had our mesh armour on and we had to stop, take of the jackets and dig the bees out of the mesh. The little buggers were still trying to sting.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

I have reflective tape on the back of my helmet. Another scary thing is an owl swooping at whatever it thinks I am, at any speed. They are really big! I'm glad they're good aviators, too. They always pull up before crashing into my head, and swoop from back to front. Portions of this post are true..I do have reflective tape, and I have had an owl cross in front of me at very close range...but it makes you think, doesn't it?
Ride safe...God bless!
