I learned how to ride 20 years ago. I could ride 2 years before I learned how to drive a car. Cars were always so boring.

Same as Owen, half month away from 1 year. 14,000 miles so far, shooting for 20,000 this year.

This will be 18 years, but it's the miles that really count, and mine have declined to about 5k per year in the last couple years. Early on, I did 15-20k a year. Rode constantly.

I find it interesting that the largest persentage of riders have either been riding a little over a year and over 25 years??? It makes you wonder where all those who have been riding during the inbetween times are? Perhaps they are not big on the internet, or, could it be because of a resurgence of popularity in motorcycle riding in the last few years??? Hummm.

It's not always the quantity that counts, but the quality, John. When it stops being fun, then you gots trouble.

I had my first ride as pillion at 4yrs old on my Dads bike. And I have been riding pillion ever since I was 14yrs old.................I'm now 46yrs. But where I'm such a short arse my legs dont reach the ground, I'm only 26" inside leg. I have rode a Triumph tiger, and a water cooled Suzuki. But each time the boyfriend had to sit on back while I pulled away. Now its a case of cant afford to run 2 bikes. But when I win the lottery, a bike for me would be 1st priority.
I'm not riding fast...........Just flying low!

This coming season is number nine for me. My wife got me started out, she said she wouldn't marry me if I didn't ride. Also found the Ninja for sale for me to buy, she did have to test ride it as Iwasn't licensed at the time. Love's a great thing :inlove:
