The guys with maple leaves are actually Americans who wish they were Canadian.
We lack national pride, remember?

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Just got back from lunch ride. Went up to subway WAY up the road about 15 miles (why? because it's there, and Sevs blog entry about going 100 miles for a mcdonalds pie seemed like fun)
2 bottoms tried to race me on the way back.
The ride home from work is going to be fun, right in the middle of rush hour. Now I'm armed with a bike that *can* compete with rush hour traffic. Huzzah.

nother story
about getting run off the road-
i have had this happen four times in the two weeks i have had my bike. i live in Ohio, so i dont worry about being shot and i have found that when this happens the most satisfying thing to do is wait for a safe chance then pass on the left flip the bird for a full 5 seconds then take the next exit. safely of course.
-ps- bikes need louder horns peeps never hear mine.

Don't try that schnitt here in Florida, you *will* get shot. law went into effect in October stating that, basically, if someone sneezes at you, you can shoot to kill, "Fearing for bodily harm!"snwbrdr wrote:nother story

That's so f'n coolSevulturus wrote:Personally I make a big show of switching feet so I can thumb it into neutral. Then I release the clutch sit straight up, and put both hands on the gastank. Roll my shoulders a couple of times and sit there.
When the light turns green and they blaze off, I'll pop her back into first and proceed at a sedate pace. I've had one guy pulled over for that already. I'm hoping to get a lot more.
I also managed to get a photo radar ticket. I had come from the opposite direction just an hour earlier and was headed home. So I knew there was a radar van ahead. I pulled up beside a riced-out civic and started revving really high. When the light turned green he TOOK OFF. And I didn't. Only one of us got a ticket

can anyone answer this question?
WHY ?!
why do people try to run us riders off the road like that? lets assume 0.00001% of all drivers are psychotic but what about the other 99.9999% ? i can't thin of any good reasons of why they would do that. anyone know?
many drivers pull out of the way to let the rider pass them....why can't everyone be like that?!
