Last year in Alberta insurance companies posted something like a quarter billion dollars in profit.

CEO ferraris and 50 story buildings are expensive.

Then again that profit may not be alot when you look at other businesses...what was McDonald's profit last year? Microsoft? Oil (ugh) companies?

I beleive the population of Alberta is just under 3 million people... Think about that. And I was WAY off, it was a 1/4 billion profit in the firust quarter. Here:

After all their payouts the insurance companies in Alberta were up 2.63 BILLION. On 3 million people.

here is something interesting i found out today, subway is bigger than McDonalds!!!!! apparently, subway has way more locations that McDs....who would've thought
