1 peice leathers

#1 Unread post by CBR1000RR »

Ok, first off, which do you prefer, 1 piece or 2 piece? Well i just bought the 1000RR in the red and black model. I also got the Duhamel Replica Leather from honda to match the bike, but the bloody thing is pretty uncomfortable, basically like anything else new, but does any one have any ideas as to breaking the leathers in faster?
And another question, i have a pair of SIDI Vertigo boots, they are stiff as hell as well, sometimes its hard to flick my ankle to shift, any suggestions?
Thanks

I wouldn't wear 1 piece on the street. Ill stick to my 2 piece.

2-piece is even fine for the occasional track day.

If I were looking at getting into racing then I would go for a 1-piece for track use.

I prefer two piece for the street. As for breaking the new gear in- just wear them.
I would be the old, slow guy. Just let me know where you are going and I'll try to get there before you leave.

Look at it this way. Are you actually going to wear a 1 piece every time you ride.

Sounds like your friends two piece, or at least the Jacket didnt fit very well. I will experiment with mine later when I'm on a break but fairly sure it wont ride up.

How about that Icon Motorhead leather with the droptail? That shouldn't ride up...I hope

Two piece for the street and one piece for the track. My bike is my only vehicle so I have to do a lot of stuff besides fun riding with it. It's a pain to have a one piece everywhere you go where you can't just take off your jacket and hang it up or other things like that.
