depending on the year... if its a kickstart.... its gonna be a "dog" to start. I hope you are fairly tall and muscular.....

Not really. A-buck-n-a-bit of me can start one with no trouble. Just make sure the automatic de-compession is working properly. If it's not (the cables tend to fail over time), nows a good time to put an aftermarket manual type on. Keeping the bike tuned up helps alot too, 'specailly the carb.

Well I have a time sating the one I have, its more like a work out then anything for me. Even my friends have a problem with it. Id say try to see how it is to start for you before you by it. Otherwise they are great bikes. A friend of mine has take it every where in the mountains with no problems, even two up.
