Good to have you aboard Doug! I think you'll enjoy our moto-community. So how did you get into riding?

Thanks for the welcome! I have friends that ride and several folks I work with that do. I had riden some in my younger days and decided that I wanted to get into it myself. I am 52 years old, kids grown, out of the house and college paid for and married. I play golf some and racketball but I needed a stress reliever that I could do for just 30 minutes or so or all day when I had the time. With the other sports you have to have a tee time or court reservations and wait on other folks. With the bike, I can just get my gear on and go. I have not made any long trips yet, probably 3hr round trip is as long as I have been. I do lots of 1 hour or so rides. This year I am going somewhere for a few days on the bike. Either with folks or without.

Welcome from some else who's pretty new to the site as well. I see that you're from KY. If I may, where at. If it helps you can PM with the info. Maybe we can get together?
