Your Bike & Why You Love It

Hi everyone, first time poster. My bike is an '06 ninja 250, in yellow. I've had it almost a month now, and I love it because it's my first bike ever. I've put almost 700 miles on it so far and I'm loving every minute of it. I wanted something small and agile to learn on, and the mpg doesn't hurt either since I've been using it to commute when I can (around 80 miles round trip).

Everyone I have talked to said I should have gotten something bigger, but I'm very happy I decided on this one.

Great taste man. I have just over 2,300 on mine, also a 2006 in "school bus yellow" as I like to call it.

The only things I don't like are the very soft suspension (I am 153 lbs.), and the soft brakes. Other than that, a pretty slick little 13,000 RPM rocket. GoTeam Green!

If money was no object however, I would get a 2006 Yamaha R1 LE, or the new 2006 ZX-10R...in Kawasaki Racing Green! That bike looks so cold and evil...unlike the Suzuki and Honda 1000s...a shame really, as they are both great bikes...Not that they are not fast, but the new ZX-10R...against most people's opinions...I LOVE it's cold and calculating looks. It looks vicious.

But all the Japanese Super Sport bikes are awesome, let it be said.

The 2006 Lime Green Kawasaki ZX-10R is the best excuse yet for me to need to get rich.

Suzuki SV650s K2

To feel two wheels under you, to be in the open air, to swing round bends and to just feel the freedom then any bike is good.
But I just love my SV for its lovely engine, pretty good road holding, light to manhandle whilst stationary, the way you can take corners just using the engine braking which is very useful in the wet and good fuel consumption 60mpg+. I've done 7000 miles this past year and will certainly do more this coming year I hope. It's got enough speed for me does everything I ask of it and when I look around at other bikes to add to a wish list not much attracts me.

One of my best friends has an identical bike to yours as says the same thing. He could easily buy whatever he wants, but loves the SV.

I went for the grey one , but I liked them all and it was a case of umm? this one , no that one

You really couldn't make a wrong choice. When the M50 first came out it was only available blacked-out, and I thought that's the only way it would look right. But once I saw the blue I realized I was wrong, then the red with flames came out further making that point. I didn't know there was a grey until I saw one in person about a month ago, and it looks awesome as well. It's the lines of the bike that make it so distinctive, so the color really takes a back seat to the shape.

I love my Rebel for it's economy, looks and willingness to go anywhere at anytime. I love the S50 for allowing me good power for 2-up riding with my G/F.

The Rebel was a great little bike, especially in-town. A fine choice.

I have a blk/ylw 2000 gsxr750. I love it because it is so nimble and fast. The only drawback to the bike is the riding position gets uncomfortable after a while and the aftermarket parts are so expensive

2004 Yamaha Road Star Warrior - I first started shopping online last March for something that I could afford and that fit my personality. Initially I thought about a Honda Shadow Sabre but then I saw the Yamaha Warrior. I decided to take a trip to the nearest dealer that had both on the showroom. I loved the Warrior but was apprehensive about the size since it would be my first bike. The Warrior won out and I haven't regretted the decision one bit. It's powerful, nimble, comfortable, and I have been able to mod the crap out of it. I get a lot of positive remarks from folks everywhere I go. A few more mods(airbrushed tins and radical handlebars) and I'll be ready to put her in a few local shows. I could not be more satisfied.
