Not too far off actually. I've not read anything on the FJR1300 but if the picture on that site is the FJR1300, I could see that as a possibility. Looks kind of like a sporty standard set up for touring. I've actually thought about going that route at some point but I like my Vulcan for now - cheap and reliable.
Asshoooooooole, they gave me the 833, ME, I am shocked and insulted. From this
To this
They said it would have to be purple and I would have to wear a funny hat and tassles and stuff and I would have to get a Goose that rides her own bike and that I would have to leave South Africa because people on purple HD's with tassles and stuff with a goose following are prejudiced in SA and man that whole trip was worse than any Durban poisen, ever, and I am only just now starting to calm down from this panic attack. Whew, deep breath, it was only a bad fantasy.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Honda Hawk
You scored -7 moxie, -2 zeal, and -2 pomp!
Your interest in riding a motorcycle is purely practical - its cheap, easy to get through the city, and you can park anywhere. You are unlikely to ever ride anywhere except between home and work or school. In order to maximize the practicality of riding, you read the magazine reviews and choose a bland yet utterly reliable Honda, a sensible motorcycle for sensible people.
I don't know anything about a Honda Hawk. There was a picture of one, and it's a sportsbike apparently. I don't know about that, but the written assestment is pretty close, although I do ride for the fun of it too.
My bike? A Yamaha Majesty 400, scooter. Probably a more practical and boring bike than the Hawk.

You scored higher than 81% on moxie(that's my "shortman syndrome" showing)
You scored higher than 59% on zeal (that's my "can do anything" showing)
You scored higher than 34% on pomp (that's my "I'm the MAN" showing)
And oh, yea, apparently I can get free dating!??????
I was told I needed a Honda Hawk as well, I like street fighters and that bike looked good to me but haven't they stopped making the hawks quite a few years back?
I got a YZF-R1, with a GSX-1000R coming in a close second. I could live with that, although I generally think that the liter class has more power than one could reasonably expect to need on the street.
This is a much better result than the test I took that determined what kind of car I should drive (I think it was the the Tappet Brother's test). I came out of that one driving a '65 Dodge Dart
Yamaha FJR1300
You scored 2 moxie, 9 zeal, and -1 pomp!

You need a bike that can handle your addiction to the twisties as well as comfortably carry two on a weekend trip through the mountains. Your bike is the FJR1300. Can I borrow it someday?
And here my uncle has been trying to get me to buy his friends fjr1100. Odd
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
