Corbin for V-star -- opinions?

#1 Unread post by canuckerjay »

Hey guys

So my first mod for my new 05 V-star 1100 Custom has to be the seat. The OEM seat is quite uncomfortable, and sits me too close to the tank. I want to be at least a couple inches back a bit.

Estheticaly, I love the look of the Corbin Stinger Saddle, pictured here:

But, I'm wondering about a) comfort and b) riding position -- is this going to move my o-ring back a couple inches or am I about to waste cash?
c) any other suggestions on seats if you can't comment?

Thanks!

Well, if you ask me, the Corbin seems to sit a bit lower than the stock, wouldn't that put you closer to the tank just because of the rear fender's arc??? Compare the pics, I think the stock may be further back....

My Corbin Stinger is the most comfortable MC Seat I've ever owned . The position is perfect for me .
You won't be sorry .

I've heard the Mustangs are comfy. I just like the look of the Corbin better.
