ooohhh, i didn't know that you could put xtra plastic armor for your bike. i'll keep that in mind when it's time.

I think Geoff means replacement Plastics, a trackday set if you like, so if you put the Bike down when pushing the envelope you dont trash the very pretty plastics that come with the Bike.

Its not too difficult to find plastics for one side of a bike or even 'burred' plastics that survived going down the road oncce - they just dont look as pretty or as cool when you are sat at a diner in town saying "How you doin'?" to the pretty girls

It dosnt take long to get them on and off once you have done it time or two.

of course, im not counting other people's mistakes since if we're talking about other people's mistakes, it doesn't matter what bike he chose for his 1st bike.

anyway, i already registered for the BRC, it's gonna be on feb 18 for me... i have to check 1st if there's a minimum riding experience required for the ERC.

I think our ERC recommends a year or minimum # of miles before taking the erc and they do the erc on owner supplied bikes rather than the little 250s the class supplies.

The ERC in New Jersey only allows people with more than 3k miles or riding to sign-up, so it isnt' unheard of for the ERC to have some requirements.

. It says you should have 3,000 miles under your belt before you sign-up. It isn't a requirement after all.

$650 for a complete set of race fairings, not a bad price i think. Not pre-painted though, at least not at that price. Just you gotta tow your bike to the track with that stuff on. Or do the swap in the parking lot

no prob. also, knee sliders might be needed once you get to track days. gonna suck if you go not expecting to drag a knee but do it on accident around a corner without them.
