i think it's an ex500 8)

but seriously, i think it's an R6.....if it was an R1, there is no way, the porshe would pass it that fast.

Porsche 911 (996) Turbo Top speed (mph) is 189

R6 is around 165 MPH (i heard that someone got it up to 172 MPH though)

R1 is around 186 MPH

i don't know if the #s are accurate though.

*EDIT*

maybe it was an R1, check the following link:

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/32081/por ... _vs_avion/

the title reads:
"Porsche vs. R1 vs. Avion"

but again, it might not be accurate as someone posted:
Not an R1...
Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like an R6 not R1.
The bike is accelerating much faster than the Porsche...
Top speeds goes to the Porsche...

On a track, who's the winner (bike or car) ?
A (Bike) Busa now ???? GSXR1300 :))))

I know I saw this video before, well over a year ago. It is not the new Kawasaki. That being said, I'm not sure what it is though.

the porsche looks to long to be the 911 and the curveture seems different too. Im not an expert of cours but i still think it has to be one of the carreras, i think carrera2 but then again, what do it know

as for who winner on a track, bike or car, id say if you have a even driver/rider skill level and the machines are fairly equal id say the bike wins because if its not an oval then the bikes accleration out of the turn on manueverablity would give it the advantage. If its an oval its tough to say, the car may be able to pull ahead on the straightaways if they are long enough.

I'm fairly sure it's an R1 as well. I think I remember them showing this on Top Gear. Wish I could find the video. I think it's on google video somewhere :?
