These are the roads I can get top speed on

0-60mph in 3 secs... not bad 8)

i wish i have access to a road like that to practice fast acceleration... although cops will probably patrol a road like that regularly since it looks like an invitation to street drag racing. :?

there was a video posted here a while ago.....the guy had all the protection you could think of and apparately he was going 100+ on a road like that, and some car pulled out of nowhere and he ran into it.....it showed his body lying there.....my point = that might be a "place' to speed, but it's not the "perfect" place because you never know what can jump in the middle of the road.

That road is rural farm land, but still you have to be aware of side roads and tractors, the give aways are the dirt tracks coming across the tar. We have been on a lot of tracks in South Africa and only one can handle my bikes top speed. This is the ring at Gerotek in Pretoria and they only let professional testing for car and bike manufacturers on the track. Got to watch out for these too.

Just one question...

Why?
~ It's not the quantity of miles -- It's the quality of the ride ~

If you have to ask why, you'll never understand any answer you get.

Just a case of 'different strokes for different folks'.....

Sometimes it's fun to see just how fast you can stroke it....... 8)

110, done it twice and I'm pretty sure that's as fast as the bike will go even though it's rated for 120.
I don't go faster than about 10 over the limit with a passenger though. I'm kind of a safety freak when someone else is back there.
