Put a full trip report in review section.
I spent my therapy money an a K1200S
The therapy worked, I got a GS now
A touch of insanity crept back in the shape of an R1200R

Scooters are just cool! I worked in a mo-ped shop in budioa italy for abot 18 months and the stuff they can do to those things is amazing. The american market is really missing out on a good time. Their 50cc off road bikes can give 125cc japanese motocross bikes a run for their money and still get 90mpg. Pipes, carbs, high compression pistons, you name it can be had for these small bikes and scooters. I enjoyed the hell out of my 76 Fantic over there (it would top out at around 60mph) so when I got back to the states I found a hodaka 100 (race ready, stretched frame, the works) and figured this should be close. Well what a dog. Damn thing couldn't get out of it's own way. In americas quest for ever larger they really missed the boat on low cc fun. You haven't lived until you've seen 100mph on a vespa 90!
