My '00 ninja 250
took her up to 113 read on the speedo, dont know if thats true, but i like to imagine so. tops a little tall, so it gets kinda hard to go any higher, but i think if i could get more aerodynamic and maybe find a nice long hill i could prolly get about 118
If we talk cars too i did 143 in my unc's 2003 Nissan 350z. that thing will really knock your socks off!!! Fast as hell and holds the roads better than a bike i swear that thing is supernatural.
i hit around 150 MPH in my brand-new red Ferrari enzo except for the fact that my car was actually a 1995 black honda civic and that the top speed was around 120MPH.

Just a case of 'different strokes for different folks'.....
Sometimes it's fun to see just how fast you can stroke it.......
I can understand. But....
This is a New Bikers forum aimed at people that don't have much riding skill. You guys preach to buy a small 250 for your 1st bike and avoid anything with too much Horse Power as it's too hard to control. Don't ride beyond your capabilities. Stay safe.... Then you guys pop in and brag about driving 125+ MPH?
There's not a single public roadway in the United States where this is considered acceptable or legal. What kind of impression are you trying to make on the novice rider? Not only is this behaviour dangerous, it sends to non-riders a message of recklessness and lack of responsibility. The lobbyists are making it tough enough on riders without this kind of thing proving their point. And how do you think it affects the credibility of this forum?
Do what you want to do, it's your skin. Just like the guy riding the wheelie in the nude. But don't talk out of both sides of your mouth. Don't preach safety then condone recklessness. It's hypocritical.
Rant over....
Flame away.

i dont believe anyone relpyed saying they go really fast all the time. Just how fast they have gone. I for one after 3 months of riding pushed my bike to a fast speed simply to see what kinda power it had. never did it often. Just played with it once. No one here has said its safe and smart to go really fast, so i dont believe anyone here has been highly hypocritical
