i'll defintely take advantage of being able to ride freeways as well as night riding.

but taking a passenger? nope, im still not confident enough w/ my bike on slow speed turns, so i shudder when i imagine carrying a passenger. also, at stops, i'll be balancing a lot more weight. maybe way later when i get really good enough.

Definatly a good call! And congrats! What was your score? Passing the MSF was awsome back when i took in (in the middle of summer; we too had 7 am classes, and i lived an hour away). The best thing you can do for yourself at this point is to just ride! Practice in a parking lot too. Do yourself a favor though, start the boxes for figure 8's and the sort bigger than the MSF and slowly move them in.

and my score was 6... i dunno how they score exactly but the mistakes that i made that i know of during the test was on the figure 8, i put a foot down and went over the line. which was bad since i didn't make this mistake during the practice test.

other than that, i think i did a good job on the rest of the test.

It's scored on a points-deducted system, you start with 100 and they take away points for mistakes. I think your score means they took away 6 points for the figure 8, so you finished with 94.

Congratulations, by the way. You've taken a lot of kidding (hopefully all good-natured) on this forum, and persisted in reaching your goal. Kudos are in order! But please don't forget, you're riding a bike with as much horsepower as my car, but 1/10 the weight. Shiny side up.

Definately keep practicing the low speed stuff. If you can do the figure 8 on a sportbike you can do it on anything.
