HELP me start this bike in the COLD
I think it could just be the cold. I got my bike today, and when I first got the bike it started easily. Tonight, after it dropped in temperature and got cold, I'm having some trouble getting it to run. I didn't try very hard to get it started, but I assume it was the cold, since my bike was freezing.
There is the possibilty that U may have choked to the point that the carbs have flooded, and you have too much fuel in the intake. Let it set a while and try to start it at a later time. Give it 20 to 30 minutes for the excess fuel to evaperate. Hope this helps.

Thought i would update everyone on the revival of the beast.
One thing we learned is that these sports bikes are hell to work on. Then we also learned that it would be nice to have a heated roof over you if your going to work on a bike in below freezing weather. But we did it!!!
After a little over 4 hrs it came to life.
The bike desperatly needs new spark plugs but since it was sunday we just used that started spray and prayed.
My neighbors where really really glad when we finally got her running at 9k rpm.
