Video camera on bike
My first grandchild will arrive in May, so I am purchasing a new camcorder for that event. I also wanted one with an external mic jack so I can set a microphone next to the engine, and mount the camera somewhere on the bike, probably the handlebars. Has anyone here done something like this before? Does anyone make a bracket, or will I have to build one? Any suggestions will be appreciated. I am hoping to get the Panasonic PV- GS250. It is a little larger than some cameras, but I like the way it fits my hand better than many of the more compact cameras, and it has most of the features I like.

I started a VERY long thread on this topic over on the SV forums. I suggest you go over there and read this. It gives a LOT of info if you want a camera on your bike:

Re: Vidio camera on bike
I made a little home made mount for my digital camera, (which also takes videos) They are not the greatest quality.floatsmyboat wrote:My first grandchild will arrive in May, so I am purchasing a new camcorder for that event.
