Pretty sure superheroes don't fly off with princesses. They leave that to plumbers and knights.

Reporters, waitresses, and the like are the type of ladies superheros associate with.

You could have string from the edges of the scarf attached to the center of your jacket (safety pins or something). That way, the movement would be limited, it wouldnt go to your side, or above your head... just have to the the lengths and attachment points right.
