Hello from Oregon

#1 Unread post by moto_hanki »

Hello all,
I have been lurking about for several months now, since I bought my first bike.
I took the Team Oregon class in August and bought my first bike in September. A 1985 Honda cmx250 Rebel. I have put a couple hundred miles on it just riding here and there. I have been feeling ready for the upgrade for awhile now and recently purchased a 1992 Yamaha xj 600 Seca II. The Seca was in pieces but my mechanic called today to say she was gonna run, so... happy day for me. I am excited about my new bike and being able to go on the rural roads around here and actually be able to keep up with traffic.

Thanks for maintaining such a great site. I have done much research here and look forward to learning more and sharing some of my experiences.
Henri

Rockin'

Thanks, I get to the Portland area as often as I can. I haven't ridden up there yet because the Rebel won't go more than 55 and vibrates like crazy. As soon as my Seca gets into one piece I'll be all over as often as I can.
