Hi
I am planning to put a K&N air filter on my CBR. Is that a good change from the stock air filter? Is it worth it? Thanks

It will flow more and filter less than the OEM air filter. You might gain some power from it, maybe some throttle response, and you might have to adjust the carbs (assuming your year of CBR has carbs, you weren't too specific...) to make the bike run correctly.
Too much work for too little gain, in my opinion. Spend that extra money on some books to improve your riding skill and you'll see a noticible gain on any bike you ride.
