I have a Suzuki C50T, with heel / toe shifter. Had an unpleasant surprise with it the other day. I had just started off on an incline, still playing with the clutch friction zone, and when I picked up my left foot and set it on the floorboard, my boot heel hit the "up-shifter", and shifted it up to neutral. I was able to quickly stop, using the foot brake, and then start over again. I came close to dropping the bike. Lucky, no one was behind me.
So.....if you have a foot shifter, you might want to be aware of this little "possible", problem.

No problem. Lower the heel lever just below the point of normal boot contact. Then, in order to shift, you have to lower the heel just a bit to shift. Of course, this is if you wear boots all the time. Works for me. I can rest my feet on any part of the floorboard without worrying about shifting.

Don't give up.
Not now, not soon, not after being continually knocked down.
If you never give up, you can never truly fail.
