My uncle has an RD 350, he let me take it for a week last summer.
Man that is the most fun i have ever had on a bike. My gs is a great bike but it pales in comparison to the fun factor of the RD. I think the front wheels on those things are about 3 inches of the ground at all times.

Man i get giddy just thinking about it.

I thought Henriettah had a yamaha LC125.

at a minimum it could be a fun bike to play in the dirt with.

I think it is just new bikes that can't be 2-strokes(in the States). If it was street-legal when it was made, it still will be.

I've owned(and ridden the snot outta) 2 RD-350LC's. Mega fun bikes to throw around.... but I love 2-strokes.

Yamaha RD125 LC. Speaking of which the roads must be pretty good up north, haven't seen her on here for a month...

Wouldn't this bike still work then as starter? I'm not looking for much oomph, I'm new. I know 250cc are suggested, but I'm like 5'2 and 110 lbs, pretty small and I just wanna be careful. I don't wanna end up in any serious accidents.

How handy are you with a set of spanners?

The older a bike is the more often it will have issues. What is irritating when it happens at home can be down right annoying when it happens 100 miles from home.

Keyoke's was if memory serves not a bad bike, did 65mph was rev happy. It did have some on going maintainence issues.
