New from Ottawa

#1 Unread post by PrettyInPink »

Hello,

I stumbled upon this forum a couple days ago and seems like a very friendly community.

I'm 24 years old and from Ottawa. I just got my licence in september and took a Safety course on thanksgiving weekend in October (the last one offered for the season in Ottawa.) Now I'm very anxious and nervous about getting on a bike again. I'll be borrowing my brother's Kawasaki Eliminator 125cc for the time being until I can afford my own bike or until he upgrades (and sells his to me.)

I am really looking forward to the spring and practicing the skills I learned almost 6 months ago. Nice to meet you all, Cheers!

Welcome, Pink! I'm in Gananoque, about 1 1/2hrs south of you. My sweetie Angie has been riding for five years now and I have a good friend who I consider as my sister in Orleans; if you need someone to ride with just let us know.

The eliminator is a cruiser. It's a low riding bike, I'll definately want something a little taller for my next bike as I'm not that short.

I was wondering how Big of a Bike a 125cc would be... What kind of a bike where You thinking of. A Few of my Female Rider Buddies have: 03Suzuki Gixer750(Sportbike), Suzuki Savage650(Single Cylinder Cruiser, sounds like a goat calling out), 93Honda750 Nighthawk(Sportish Bike), 2004ZZR250(Sportish Bike)........

Well I'm not entirely sure what my next bike will be. I think my first upgrade will be to something with a 500cc engine, and I really like the cruisers. I think I need to do some more research before I can decide on what I'll upgrade to.

Welcome to the TMW Forums Pink . My spousette is 6' and she is really comfortable on her Suzuki Maruader .
I built an Eliminator the other day and it was the first one I ever saw . Reminded me of a pygmy Meanstreak.............
Kindest regards, Wizzard........
