Friend Just Made A HUGE Mistake

I thought it would be easier to do my bike license on a smaller, less heavy bike (rode a 185cc Yamaha loaner bike on my first attempt) I failed miserably!

Went back a second time on my 600cc superbike and passed perfectly ! The Examiner even wrote "Excellent Pass" on his test sheet.

Just because it has more power doesn't have to mean it is less safe to ride. It is the person riding it that determines that.

I've only got annecdotal evidence but something that was said to me when I was first checking out a training course is it can be easier to do the low power stuff on a multi cylander bike as its better balanced than a 'single lung'.

For the record although I've got 38,000 miles and passed my full bike test my 'Blade riding friend is saying that I will have to ride with him for a while longer before he lends me the 'Blade.

He will lend me the 'Blade, just not yet...

Ummm...if that "statement" were true, you would have passed on the 185cc the first time bro.

Thanks for all the feedback, I'm sure the actual number of people who started and survived on a supersport is higher than 1%, but I've never seen any data regarding the information.

On the brightside, it's going to rain for the next several days and hopefully he'll spend a lot of time going through the copy of Proficient Motorcycling I gave him.
