Icon TiMax Gloves

#1 Unread post by sparky »

I'm looking to buy a new pair of gloves, and I'm really interested in the Icon TiMax Long. It seems to be everything I'm looking for, except for ventilation. It makes no mention of any vents, or anything else, and being one with naturally sweaty hands, it's important. There aren't any places nearby where I can go check out a pair, or even other models of Icon gloves. Has anyone had any experience with these and could maybe give me a recommendation or review of the TiMax, or Icon in general? Thanks!

For the few that may be wondering :

I have the long version. They're not vented but I haven't noticed them being too hot, but then again it hasn't been really hot here yet either (atlanta area, mid 60s max so far). Mine are yellow, I'm sure the black ones would be hotter.

They're don't say they are waterproof but they will hold off water for a little while, I got caught in a shower last week and my boots leaked (cheapo's till others come in) but my hands were dry.

They fit tight to get them off and on but once they are on they fit well. They run a little small so think about getting a bigger size if you're on the edge of the measurement. I measured on the high end of medium and got a large.
