It just seems so much fun to ride, kinda in the same vein why the Airbus 380 or Boeing 747 seem so cool. I guess there's something fascinating about manuevering something that huge. (lol I'm already thinking of a dozen dirty jokes...sigh)

The idea is cool, but it seems like there are too many problems with it. But I hate goldwings and all like motorcycles with a passion. It's like driving a car with two wheels. They basically have a frickin' recliner on the back. It just seems like an overkill to me, if you're on a bike, you should feel like you're on a bike, not sitting in your living room.

ummm... couple issues:

1) Brakes... I bet it has brakes on the car carrier.
2) Lifting... the trailer thing that folds out the back appears to have three wheels, so it wouldn't lift up or push down on the rear wheel of the bike. With a winch on the car carrier it could easily pull a car aboard without the bike noticing it.
3) It looks like a useful tool for a specialized application (urban auto towing)... if you look at the web page http://comingthrough.se/ it appears to be available for purchase in Europe. Not much use in most of the US.

That is what I used to think until I rode the 1800 Goldwing. If you still think its a Winnebago then you oughta take one out and really ride it. It will out handle and out accelerate and stop quicker than you can imagine. They are simply fantastic machines. The power feels endless and comes on with force enough to make your eyeballs bulge. One of the fastest riders on "the dragon" rides a yellow 1800, proof that this bike can handle with the best. High performance and extremely comfortable, what's wrong with that?

When I was building an old nova SS a few years back, I had a friend weld me a custom transmission mount on in his garage... he towed the car to and from his place with his harley and a rope:) I was impressed.

If I were someone that frequently did medium to long hauls on the highway I'd probably consider it...when I'm older anyhow. To each his own.
