New to the forums. Finally talked by wife into getting a motorcycle this summer, so I'm technically not a rider yet, but I've enrolled in the local MFT course in May and hope to get my bike in June or July. My plan is to get the new Kawasaki Vulcan 900LT, which I know is considered a big bike for a beginner, but I've also seen the Vulcan 800 suggested, and the 900 is its replacement. I've been reading most of this forum and another for a few weeks, soaking up other's experiences. If anyone would like to comment on my choice of bikes, feel free ...I'm more than happy to take advice.
Anyhoo, about my avatar picture ...it's just an image of a beagle I found on the internet and photoshopped it into an image of the 900LT. The funny thing is, we have 3 beagles in our household ...one of which looks like the beagle in the picture (tri-color) ...whose name is "Harley" ...so, basically, my avatar is "Harley riding on a Kawasaki"!! bwhahahaha!
