can you post a link as to where you got your gear?
i got them all from newenough.com except the draggin jeans which i got from their official website.

check out newenough's closeout section. my jacket, gloves (both of them), and boots where bought from their closeout section.

and some of their regular products are sold below MSRP. i got my teknic 1pc from them for $669 and it was supposed to be $799.

oh actually, my helmet was from a diff website too but i don't remember it anymore.

kneedraggers.com is also a good site.

haven't used this one yet but they have good prices. http://www.parts411.com/index.cfm

i stay in the middle of the seat when im not fully tuck in, like in that pic on my sig.

i only slide back further on a full tuck which i don't do very often since i rarely go above 90mph. plus it's attracts too much attention from cops i heard when you fully tuck.

That's bad for your spine, andmakes it tougher to react when riding is what he's trying to say.

Plus it looks bad.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

really? i don't feel any stress but if that's true, then i guess i should sit farther even when im not going fast.

i'll work on it. :D

i was worse before, i was always sitting very near the tank, and then i worked on seating farther, so now im in the middle. i guess i should still sit further back then.

also, while we're on the topic of criticizing my riding position... what's the correct way of placing your foot on the peg?

should the balls of my feet touch the pegs or should it be my heels that touch the peg, or should it be the middle part of my foot?

most of the time, it's the middle of the foot just after the heels that are on the peg ...is that wrong?

EDIT: im sleepy now... i'll check this back tomorrow. pls post more tips on how to improve my riding posture. :)

You sould sit as far forward as is comfortable, with the tank nestled firmly between your thighs.

That whole hunching over the tank thing looks rather uncomfortable though. You obviously dont need to do that judging by the bends in your elbows, so is it just for looks?

Regarding the "correct" foot placement, it depends on the bike you ride and where the pegs are located. I ride around town with the pegs up against my heels and when I am out for a bit of fun I tend to be up on the balls of my feet to increase cornering clearance.
I forget at times and this is the result:

kinda conflicting ideas im getting here. :?

i am comfortable seating forward and back.

but when im gonna seat further back, i tend to tuck more since if i don't, my arms will be straight and that's bad right since my arms needs to be loose and elbows bent.

regarding hunching, nope, it's not just for looks. like above, if i sit straight up, my elbows will be straight.

thanks for the info regarding foot placement... i tried to look at pics from racers leaned down but their legs are covering their feet so i couldn't see how their foot is placed on the peg.

BTW... looks like your toe sliders did a good job. you must have been in a extreme lean angle for that to happen. they're easy to replace, right?

I was saying you should sit further back because your elbows are bent considerably... bunched/hunched up like that just doesn't look comfy, and I KNOW for me it definately isn't. I think you would be more comfy if you sat further back enough so your elbows were just slightly bent, then you wouldn't have to lean over so far, with a lean like that it looks like you are 5ft tall.

i'll try that, thanks, i haven't seen myself when im seated way back but from my perspective, i feel like im hunched more when i do seat further.

oh well, i'll go down the garage and seat on the bike and try to notice what i look like when i seat further back.

pics are great, i get to have feedback and work on it. :D

next time, i need to have some vids so i can get better feedback.

EDIT: ok i just sat on the bike on the garage... i do have to lean more when i sat further back.

That's because your bike is designed to be ridden by someone leaning way forward.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.
