What is the story on these bikes?

What's their selling point other than being Russian?

Aye carumba!

The Wolf is a 750cc class bike and yet it only maxes out at 81 mph...

Dude -- let me introduce you to forum member "Gummiente". First check out the Ural pages on his website, http://www.gummiente.ca/. Also check out his blog here on TMW. And if you PM him, I'm sure he'll be happy to tell you more about Ural cycles.

It's a 50 year old BMW. More or less.

Yeah, that's about right. It's sort of a two-wheeled "Back To The Future" kinda thing.

Hmm, I guess I just can't see myself getting into the whole sidecar thing.

Then you need a dog, my friend.

It is possible to train Fido to ride on a bike, but they scratch the hell outta the tank and are prone to taking the occasional un-authorized dis-mount even after training. Makes Rover a bit cranky and bike-shy....

I really want to scrounge up a sidecar for my 2 mutts.....
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

Here is another option I'm considering, for my dog. Just take a Honda CX 500 or Moto-Guzzi V-Twin and build yourself a replica Morgan 3-wheeler. Better handling than a m/c sidecar unit and more attractive. Rear wheel (singular) drive via driveshaft of course. This particular unit is a JZR.

That thing is pretty slick, Paul. Definately unique with the motor right up front and exposed like that.

Options, options, options.....leading to decisions, decisions, decisions......
